Did you forget?

One of my joys (and financial perils) of getting together with nature journalers regularly, are the wonderful supplies that y’all bring to my attention. In this case, Jenn had a wonderful aluminum sketch board that tucks into the top of a journal and provides an extra surface to hold a bit of water, a paper towel, and a small watercolor palette. These are made by Eileen Goldenberg.

My quick sketch of Jenn’s sketch board in action done in the corner of my journal. You can see how it actually works on Eileen’s website.

So, naturally, once I got home, I went to visit Eileen’s website to find out more about these wonderful sketch boards, and as I do, I got distracted by another thing that Eileen makes – the Fearless Felt Watercolor Journals. And while learning about these Fearless journals, I found the story that I really just need to share with all of you.

A 7 year old asked me what I do, and when I said I teach people to draw, she said…
“Did they forget?”
